How does the SurgiWire Procedure Compare to Other Techniques?
There are a variety of approaches to wrinkle reduction that can be accomplished with injections: the administration of muscle relaxing agents, synthetic fillers, natural collagen boosters, or fat.
Injections like BOTOX® Cosmetic may be used to decrease the development of deep lines over time and may be used in many areas of the face but this procedure is not performed on the deep naso-labial folds we develop from laughing.
Synthetic Fillers (Restylane®, Radiesse®, and JUVÉDERM® Injectable Gel) greatly soften the appearance of deep lines by plumping the depressed area immediately under the skin.
