The Alma Harmony® Laser Platform by Alma Lasers is the most state-of-the-art laser technology in the world designed to comprehensively address any patient's key skin care need. What Dr. Melnick has learned is that the best skin rejuvenation results can be achieved when an individualized treatment program is created for patients and executed in combination therapy. This procedure works simultaneously to repair collagen in the dermis, or deepest layer of the skin, while gently erasing signs of aging, scarring, or damage to the top layer of skin. The procedure is out-patient and patients usually resume their normal activities the same day.
What it Treats
- Skin Color - Vascular or pigmented skin, conditions (Photo Damage and Rosacea) are effectively treated using the AFT pulsed light modules. Typically this includes a series of 3-5 treatments. Skin Texture and Tone - Possibly the most unique module in the Harmony® Platform, the Pixel™ 2940 was designed specifically for skin texture. The Pixel™ is a Fractional Laser Skin Resurfacing treatment. Skin resurfacing occurs as the laser passes over the affected skin to remove damaged outer layers and, through heat, stimulates the production of collagen and new skin cells in the underlying layers. There is no pain and little down time, and is generally performed in a series of 4-8 treatments.
- Skin Tightening - The Accent radio frequency module is a painless treatment that improves skin laxity reducing fine lines and wrinkles. The Accent is very well suited as a combination treatment with the AFT and the Pixel™, it is also offered as a stand alone option in a series of 6-8 treatments.
